Dear Y.E.S. Families,

Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year at Yorktown Elementary! A new year brings fresh opportunities, new goals, and an exciting journey ahead for our Wildcats. It is a privilege to continue serving as your principal, and I am looking forward to another wonderful year of learning and growth.

This year, we are setting our course for Destination: Success. Throughout the journey, our students will be encouraged to dream big, work hard, learn from challenges, and celebrate their progress. Success does not look exactly the same for every child, and that is what makes each journey special. Our responsibility is to meet students where they are and help them take meaningful steps forward.

At Y.E.S., our priorities begin with loving children, building strong relationships, and creating a safe and welcoming place to learn. We will maintain high expectations while providing the encouragement, support, and engaging experiences students need to thrive. Academics will remain at the heart of our work, but we will also provide opportunities for students to explore their talents, build confidence, develop leadership skills, and experience the joy of being a Wildcat.

Families are essential partners on this journey. Your encouragement, involvement, and communication help us provide the best possible experience for every student. I invite you to stay connected, ask questions, share ideas, and celebrate alongside us throughout the year.
